In this configuration, only images with a high degree of similarity (content and framing) are detected.<\/p>\n<p>We obtain 4\/5 groups of two\/three images. Images with excessive variations in sharpness, lighting or color are not detected. Note that the upside down image of the ceil is correctly detected!<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/double1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<h3>Low correspondence<\/h3>\n<p>Set the duplicate mode with a &#8220;low&#8221; level of correspondence (slider fully left) and then rescan.<\/p>\n<p>This time, we get 8\/9 groups. Images with large variations in lighting or sharpness are detected. On the other hand, some panoramas begin to appear. They correspond to images which are superimposed on at least half of their surface! Similarly, the ceil group detects images with a low rotation as duplicate.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/double2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">Generally<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the setting with<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the cursor<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in the center,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">quick search box<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">checked,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">is a good compromise<\/span><span class=\"\">.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"panorama\">Panorama mode<\/h2>\n<h3>High similarity<\/h3>\n<p>Set <strong>Panaustik<\/strong> in the panorama mode with a &#8220;hight&#8221; level of similarity (slider fully to the right). In this mode, unlike the duplicate mode, there are no constraints on the size nor on the relative position of the images<\/p>\n<p>The analysis shows 28 images in 9 groups.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/pano1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">When images contain GPS data, the &#8220;tooltip&#8221; shows the picture location (Internet connection required).<\/span><\/div>\n<p>Note in particular, the ceil group where images with large rotation are detected.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">Checking or not <\/span><span class=\"hps\">the check<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">for<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">quick search<\/span> of <span class=\"hps\">panoramas<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">does not change significantly<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the result.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">There is,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">against<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">a real difference<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in speed<\/span><span class=\"\">!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Low similarity<\/h3>\n<p>Configure <strong>Panaustik<\/strong> in panorama mode with a &#8220;low&#8221; level of similarity (slider to the left). In this mode, the images are analyzed more deeply to bring out maximum similarity (sometimes too much).<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">This time<\/span>, <strong>uncheck<\/strong> the box <span class=\"hps\">for<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">quick search of<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">panoramas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This mode can detect images taken with different focal lengths as for the images of Venice.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/pano2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<div id=\"gt-src-tools\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"gt-input-tool\">\n<div id=\"tts_button\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">If<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">you <strong>check<\/strong> the box<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">for<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">quick search<\/span> of <span class=\"hps\">panoramas<\/span>, <span class=\"hps\">the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">zoomed<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">portion<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">is not<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">sought.<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">For example<\/span>, the group of <span class=\"hps\">images of<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Venice is<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">no longer detected.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hps\">Generally<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the setting with<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">the cursor<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">in the center,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">quick search box<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">checked,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">is a good compromise<\/span><span class=\"\">.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"avance\">Advanced Tunings<\/h2>\n<p>If the settings of the quick setup <img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Quick Setup\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/chrono.png\" alt=\"\" \/> are not adapted\u00a0 in a particular situation, the easiest way is to peforms a quick setup, and then go to advanced options <img decoding=\"async\" title=\"options\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/options.png\" alt=\"\" \/> to adjust the desired parameters.<br \/>\n<!--Ads1--><\/p>\n<ul class=\"link-pages\">\n<li class=\"next-link\"><a href=\"\/en\/tutoriel3\"><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-right\"><\/i><strong>Next<\/strong>Group Management<\/a><\/li>\n<li class=\"previous-link\"><a href=\"\/en\/tutoriel1\"><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-left\"><\/i><strong>Previous<\/strong>Overview<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NextGroup Management PreviousOverview Test Images The test images can be downloaded\u00a0here.
